Walk-in Freezer Repair
Technician James from our company diagnosed the walk-in freezer for our customer. A common reason for a walk-in freezer to have a leak of Freon from the condenser unit is due to corrosion. Over time, the copper pipes and joints can wear out and develop leaks, releasing Freon into the atmosphere.
Another possible cause of the leakage of Freon from the condenser unit in the walk-in freezer could be due to physical damage to the pipes or joints. A loose or damaged connection between the condenser and the evaporator coil can also result in Freon leakage.
During checkout of the parts he found that there is a leak of freon from the condenser unit. As the system that was installed in this walk-in freezer was quite old and worked on R22 freon that is not produced currently, technician recommended that the replacement of the unit is the best choice for the customer.
