Washer GE Repair
We were contacted by customer whose Combo unit GE started acting up. Washer was not draining and our technician after thorough diagnostics found that the drain pump was not functioning. Customers agreed to the repair and soon after washer was draining properly saving our customers cost of replacing the unit.
A GE washer may not drain water properly if the pump or the drainage hose gets clogged with debris or lint from clothes. This clogging could result in reduced water flow through the system, and it would cause the washer to pause or stop working altogether.
Washer lid switch failure or malfunction could also hinder the proper drainage process. This switch will detect the proper closing of the lid before enabling the washer to drain water. If the switch is defective or fails to function properly, the washer will not start draining.
